Easily the most forgiving irons I’ve ever played. All in all, a very solid, simple, oversized iron that will help someone looking to gain a little more distance with a good level of forgiveness. Whilst the cavity does protrude behind the topline on some of the longer irons, its dark colour means it should not distract you like some game-improvement irons do. With tonnes of space and cavity behind the clubface, players can feel confident that even a slight mishit will result in a solid shot.

You get the feeling looking down on the club that you could almost strike three golf balls on the face, and with the forgiveness offered in the design, chances are each ball would end up near the hole! I’ve had a great season with them and wouldn’t change them. It is designed to “appeal to the largest range of golfers” and we think it is a solid addition to the set, taking the guess-work of shaft choice out of the equation for the player looking for a game-improvement set. One of the greatest irons I have ever played in my 20 years of playing golf!

Wildon just maybe me but they seem to fade to the right which is simply thing to take care of, but like the advert says “they’re good but not quite carling”.
Now that I’ve had time to get used to them they have proved me wrong. Within Wilson’s new s range, distance is taken care of by the Ds, launched last year with the promise of helping everyday golfers swing faster with less effort. I play lots of different irons each year sort of a hobby of mine and these are the best irons I have come across in a very long time, in fact they are so good they unseated the Mizuno Eilson irons from my bag.
Whilst Wilson may be a little late to the light-driver party, they have made quite the entrance. With tonnes of space and cavity behind the clubface, players can feel confident that even a slight mishit will result in a solid shot.
