This is a US machine with up to date mvidia drivers. The next time it’s turned on, after the initial Toshiba logo loads, 62000 are artifacts everywhere. I’ve reinstalled, updated and rolled back the video drivers and chipset drivers but it made no practical difference.
The XP logo has streaks through it and then login window looks completely distorted and can’t login. Turn on again; same problem, artifacts everywhere. It’s bizarre because the graphics card has freaked out in strange ways and embarrassing because it’s not my laptop.
I’m having trouble with this, however, and would really appreciate some tips!
